Radis Community Care have an opportunity for a Social Care Training Officer to join the team supporting our Services in the South.
About the role
As a Social care Training Officer you will be organising and delivering in-house training through face-to-face or via the virtual platform methods such as MS Teams.
This will cover all aspects of Care to meet the Care Certificate standards, including Safeguarding, Health and Safety, documentation, medication and moving and handling in the care sector.
The Training Officer will also have the responsibly to maintain records of training delivery and participate in meetings as part of a team approach.
Skills and Qualifications required for the role
Applicants for this position would benefit from holding a qualification in Learning & Development, and/or, a PTTLS / CTTLS or DTTLS teacher training/Level 3 qualification, have experience in Social care settings.
The successful candidate will have experience in training staff in care, organisation and administrative skills and demonstrate confidence in IT skills, including Word, Excel, and Power Point. You will have good attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
This role requires you to have a full clean driving License and access to a vehicle as travel is required for the role, including occasional overnight stays, as well as occasional travel to other regions when required, however, this role will be mainly home based.
